Latest Demo Day News
Our first Demo Days of 2012 are now just around the corner, so we figured it might be a good time to give everyone an update on what is going on.
For the first time we are going to run 2 Demo Days on consecutive Saturdays at the end of February. The main reason for this, is as we have taken on a couple more brands this year we simply don’t have enough space to do each brand justice if we tried to do it on the 1 day as we have done previously.
This year we have also invited more ‘Non Bike’ brands along to both demo their kit and to have other items on display for you to drool over. Below is a list of brands / suppliers confirmed so far:
18th February
Demo bikes from: Commencal, Santa Cruz, Niner, Ibis
Try before you buy: Teva’s, Hedcamz, 661 pads
See the latest products from: Madison, Fox, Maxxis and Osprey
* hedcamz are giving cameras out to try and they will download the footage when you get back to see it yourself
* Teva and 661 are demoing shoes / pads
25th February
Demo bikes from: Yeti, Orange, Ghost
See the latest products from: Evoc, Fibrax, Husky, POC, Crank Brothers, Urge, e13, formula, raceface, sdg and Royal
* Teva and 5.10 are demoing shoes
* Hedcamz are demoing cameras
If you want to demo any bikes on either day, please bring with you a photo ID, either Driving License or Passport, and a registration fee of £10.00 per day will be charged, which will be split between the Welsh Air Ambulance and Coed Llandegla Trail Pixies.
We will not be taking Pre bookings for the demos, and it will be run on a strictly first come first served basis. Demo’s will start at 9.30am and last demo will be at 4.00pm.
We will be setting out the usual Demo Day Route which will be approximately 30 minutes long. Longer Demo’s can be organised with Oneplanet Adventure staff for a later date.
We will also be cooking up something a little special on the decking, with Richie’s Pizza Oven on the go too.
So what are you waiting for. Make sure you have freed up your day on both the 18th and 25th of February and get on up to Oneplanet Adventure to demo the best kit mountain biking has on offer.
